For
many of us relief from the heat is all that is needed, and if
that is the case then the MAC may be the best choice. You determine
if you are able to use water only or the amount of ice you determine
you want to use depending on the heat you are dealing with at
the time.
Like all MightyKool Models it even cools adequately using water
only in the Dryer Climates of the World, plus gives the opportunity
to add ice for cold Air Conditioned air or ice substitutes for
moderately cold air. "Ice Water" models are vital when Air
Conditioning is demanded for Aircraft, Surveillance, Vehicles,
Boats, Campers, when ventilation of any kind cannot be tolerated.
If a person demands total comfort most all of the time then it
is better to choose one of the "Ice Water" Models. The
MAC will typically need some outside air ventilation to keep from
building up humidity. A proper sized Air Conditioner like our "Ice
Water" models including the MAC are the only types that will
cool an enclosed area like in a vehicle, camper, boat cabin, etc.
There is a direct correlation in cooling between
the methods we use use and that is why the "Ice Water"
models produce cold air and help reduce humidity. The trade off
when you use the MAC to save ice is that your will need will use
less ice than the "Ice Water" models and produce cold
air without eliminating humidity. Just remove the
lid and add the cold material of your choice. If you use ice and
have water to evacuate, just use a siphoning hose rather than
having to lift or move the MAC full of water, which right at 11
pounds including the empty ice chest.
There are many possible uses for the MAC such as for Boats, Campers,
Vehicles, Sleepers, Farm and Construction Equipment, where it
is not possible to obtain the ice needed for the "Ice Water"
Models. Use also in more humid areas to produce cool air, as long
as some ventilation would be available to keep from building up
more humidity than normal.
The OptionalFlex
Hose Kit (R) could be added for absolute control of the the
cooled air. The cool air streaming from the vents may be 70 degrees
in 100 degree dry heat, however flowing through 100-degree air
it quickly increases up to 90-degrees in as little as Two Feet!
The MAC System is Equipped with Four Energy Efficient Brushless
Double Ball Bearing Motors. These Motors operate on 12-Volts or
110-Volts using an Optional AC/DC Convertor.
One of the Secrets to Boosting the Cooling System of the MAC is
it's single Custom Cooling Filter Pad! This single Pad should
be changed every few hundred hours so that you may continue to
enjoy Cooler Fresh Air than any other portable Air Conditioner.
Consider ordering an Extra Set of Two Cooling Pads if you want
this Model as we even include shipping and handling free with
the original order.
NOTE: (The following is similiar to the thousands
of requests we receive every year for something just a little
better than what the MW1 or MW2 is capable of doing in a Humid
Area, therefore leading us to the development of the MAC)
I received the order and we used
the MightyKool (MW1) three nights on our trip. It was very humid
and hot out so I'm not sure they had the best chance to work.
From what they did do, they worked well enough to keep us comfortable
in very uncomfortable situations. I think they could have put
out much cooler air but then again the humidity was at 100% the
entire time. It was very easy to pack the Mighty Kool to the camp
and set it up with the battery and ran very well. I can not believe
that the small units put out so much air. The fans on them work
great! I just wish the humidity was not so high. On a scale from
1 to 10, I would have to give it an 8, maybe an 8.5. I will definitely
be back or if I know anyone who could use your services, I will
not hesitate in reccomending your company. Again thank you for

What are the Dimensions, Amperage Draw and Water
Capacity?
One gallon (3.75 liters) of water will last around two to
three hours in the daytime and four to five hours during the night
when used for evaporative cooling in dry desert climates. The
"Ice Water" models are capable of using from 10 pounds
(4.5 kilograms) up to 20 pounds (9.0 kilograms) of ice per hour,
or more, depending on the ambient temperature and day or night
operation.
A 105 Deep Cycle battery, "not being charged", allow
the MW1, MW2 to operate for 50 to 80 hours and the "Ice Water"
models like the MK3, MK4, MAC & M400 will operate for 25 to
35 hours before the battery needs charging. The Swampy Models
will operate about 8 hours before the battery would need charging
as they draw more energy.
Evaporative

& the Model AC 12 uses Ice only
